Diana Espinoza Aguilar
Rafael Caro Quintero, a 69-year-old drug lord from Mexico, was born on October 3, 1952, in Badiraguato, Mexico, to his lovely wife Diana Espinoza Aguilar.
The drug is both the co-founder and presumed current leader of the recently founded Caborca Cartel as well as the co-founder of the already defunct Guadalajara Cartel. Quintero is also related to Miguel Caro Quintero, a drug dealer who founded the defunct Sonora Cartel and served as its first leader.
In order to transport a significant amount of marijuana from Mexico to the United States, he collaborated with Gallardo, Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo, and Pedro Avilés Pérez. Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, Alfredo Zavala Avelar, John Clay Walker, and Alberto Radelat were abducted in 1985 by the famed drug trafficker.
Meet Diana Espinoza, wife of Rafael Caro Quintero
Rafael Caro Quintero, a Mexican drug lord, and Miguel ngel Félix Gallardo co-founded the now-defunct Guadalajara Cartel in the late 1970s. Rafael Caro Quintero’s wife is Diana Espinoza Aguilar.
Rafael, a narcotics trafficker, met Diana, then 39, while serving time at Puente Grande prison in 2010. Rafael first saw Diana on television as a contestant in a beauty pageant held within the jail, where she was declared the winner.
2011 saw the release of Aguilar before the drug lord, but she kept seeing her lover and had plans to create a family following his freedom. As a result, the couple’s love story is more akin to a soap opera plot where the main characters meet in the most unexpected way. We are unsure if they are still together or have broken up because they have subsequently led miserable lives.
In the year 2022, where is Rafael Caro Quintero?
Two arrest warrants were filed for Quintero, who is currently being held for the savage murder of D.E.A. agent Enrique Camarena, alias Kiki; he was apprehended on July 15, 2022, in the community of San Simón.
The drug lord was originally given a 40-year prison term in 1985 for the death of Kiki, although he only served 28 years in prison by 2013. Additionally, the US government announced a $20 million reward for his apprehension around 2018.
Additionally, according to court documents, Rafael has been charged with many charges of cocaine trafficking in federal court in Brooklyn since 2020. We are unaware of the length of time he will spend behind bars for his horrible crime because his sentence has not been made public.
Rafael Caro Quintero’s arrest: Why?
Enrique Camarena, a Drug Enforcement Administration agent working covertly in Mexico in 1985, was allegedly killed by Rafael, who was then in custody.
According to the N.Y. Times, the drug kingpin was found lurking in the bushes and was eventually apprehended by a joint effort of Mexican marines and the prosecutor’s office.
Additionally, 14 marines were murdered when a Black Hawk aircraft that was carrying them crashed outside the adjacent city of Los Mochis a few hours after he was caught. May their souls rest in peace in paradise.
After being released in 2013 on a legal technicality and going on the run ever since, Quintero was added to the F.B.I.’s ten most wanted list in 2018 for planning the murder of Camarena. However, the drug dealer was eventually apprehended as Mr. Garland declared that anyone who abducts, tortures, and kills American law officers had nowhere to hide.
