The divorce news of popular Television personalities Minnie Dlamini and Quinton Jones lodged for divorce. Both are parting their ways after 4 years of marriage. They have a young son together.
The duo got married in the year 2017 and shared their wedding celebration with the country in a 3-part series titled: “Becoming Mrs. Jones.” In an official joint statement posted on social media, the duo stated: “In the last 2 years, our family has experienced remarkable joy and devastating loss. During this time, we discovered comfort in knowing we had each other.

“In the spite of our best efforts to absorb the changes in motion, the emotional burden, and the post-traumatic pain of our individual loss outweighed our will. After months of separation and consultation with a counselor and family, we have taken the decision to officially file for divorce.” TV personality Minnie captioned the statement on Instagram in which she wrote, “We remain business partners, friends and loving parents to our son.”

While it was the recent decision of Minnie to change her name back to Minnie Dlamini (instead of Minnie Dlamini-Jones) on Instagram that raised doubt for internet sleuths, the tv personality has previously talked about the challenges she faced in the marriage. Last year when commemorating their 4-year anniversary, Minnie admitted that wedding is not always easy, and the duo had sometimes wanted to call its quits, but she was grateful for the voyage.
Minnie wrote, alongside a picture of the couple on their wedding day that “Happy anniversary to us. I can not believe it is four years already. Wow, time flies! Marriage is not easy, and there are several times we have both wanted to call its quits, but it is days like today that remind us of the promise we made to each other. Love you so much, Baba KaNetha.”
Minnie and Quinton shut down the web in the year 2017 with their amazing traditional marriage and gorgeous white wedding. Celebs include Jessica Nkosi, Unathi Msengana, Jessica Nkosi, Criselda Dudumashe, Anele Mdoda, Jimmy Tau, Nandi Madida, and Basetsana Kumalo all attended but were asked not to share any photos or videos while at the ceremony. Minnie wore 2 wedding gowns designed by Gert-Johan Coetzee and everything was recorded for their Television special.
The duo has a son and is growing as executive producers having recently released the movie titled “No Love Lost”.
