The mystery surrounding the young woman’s death and her son’s kidnapping is revealed in Girl in the Picture.
In 1975, when Sharon Marshall was just six years old, her stepfather and future husband Franklin Floyd kidnapped her.
Without even knowing that Suzanne Sevakis was her real name, she passed away in 1990.
In order to keep “Sharon” under his control for the foreseeable future, Franklin had also kidnapped her sisters.
In the Netflix documentary Girl In The Picture, Alison and Amy are identified as Suzanne’s sisters. Sandra Chipman, a legendary spouse of Franklin Delano, was their mother.

Alison and Amy’s stepfather, Franklin, left them in a children’s home when Suzanne’s mother was placed in a children’s home after receiving a 30-day jail sentence for presenting a counterfeit check.
After serving a prison sentence for signing a “bad check,” Sandi was shocked to discover Franklin had abducted her children and escaped. At that point, things turned ugly.
Sadly, Franklin kept on having an impact on Suzanne, treating her like his daughter and giving her the new name of Sharon Marshall.
Sharon and Floyd moved to New Orleans in 1989, where Floyd had them legally declared married and assumed the names Clarence Hughes and Tonya.
The identity of their brother Phillip, who was missing until he came forward in 2019, was eventually established by a DNA test.

According to Sandi in the Netflix original, “I immediately went to the police station and told them (officers Brandon/ Franklin) had abducted my children.
She claimed to have found her daughters Allison and Amy in a local children’s home run by a church.
Amy and Allison seem to be adults now. Together with their mother, her third husband, and other half-siblings, they are currently living in Virginia.
It is said that the two women, who are both in their early 50s, have sizable, loving families of their own.

On September 6, 1969, in Livonia, Michigan, Suzanne Marie Sevakis was born to Sandi Chipman and Clifford “Cliff” Ray Sevakis.
Sandi gave birth to Phillip, Amy, and Allison during her second marriage to Dennis Brandenburg (now 51 years old).
Despite just being half-siblings, they were close. So even social services decided they couldn’t separate them when Sandi ran into problems.
Later, their mother wed Franklin, who was actually Brandon Williams at the time. Sandi would surrender her children to the system when she was upset.
