Vishwa Deenadayalan Car Accident: Promising Indian Table Tennis player killed in Meghalaya car accident.
Tamil Nadu Tennis player, 18-year-old Vishwa Deenadayalan was killed in a fatal two-vehicle crash that happened in Meghalaya on Sunday.
Preliminary investigations revealed, Vishwa and three other Tamil Nadu Tennis players were traveling in a tourist taxi from Guwahati airport to Shillong to participate in the 83rd Senior National Table Tennis Championship when the accident happened.
The taxi carrying the players collided with a 12-wheel truck, leaving all occupants with severe injuries. While they were being transported to a hospital, Vishwa succumbed to his injuries. While the other three injured players were rushed from Nongpoh to North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences where they remained in stable condition.
