Two Found Dead After Floods In Quezon City
Authorities says, two residents have been found dead following the heavy rains and floods which hit several areas in Quezon City over the weekend.
In a statement, Mayor Joy Belmonte said the city would will provide assistance to the two victims whose bodies were found at the Parkway Village in Barangays Apolonio Samson and Bahay Toro.
“We sincerely extend our condolences to the family and loved ones of our two residents who died during the onslaught of heavy rains and flash floods this Saturday.”
“The city government will extend the necessary assistance to the victims’ families, including financial assistance and temporary accommodation.”
Authorities says, one of the victims have been identified while the Quezon City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (QCDRRMO) is coordinating with the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) for the other’s identity.
