Toby Jones Arrested
American comedian and actor Robert Lazarik Hines is best known for playing Toby Jones in a series of viral spoof ads, including “Jones’ Good-Ass BBQ and Foot Massage.”
The most recent development is that certain media publications, like Sports Illustrated, seem to think Steph Curry’s dancing music, a parody commercial jingle that Hines produced seven years ago, alludes to a real Chicago company called Jones BBQ and Foot Massage.

Toby Jones was he detained? Story and Wikipedia of Toby Jones
Hines has frequently referred to Toby Jones as the leading man of the 2008 Internet commercial parody Jones’ Big Ass Truck Truck Rental and Storage. The parody was created by the Chicago sketch comedy troupe Big Dong Eat Child.
Toby Jones was based on a sketch that Ramiro Castro Jr. wrote in 2005 with the same name. The advertisement specifically included Hines’ phone number and a valid web URL.
The Jones’ Big Ass Truck Rental and Storage video, which was released in November 2008, instantly went viral after collecting over 700,000 views in its first two weeks.
As a result, Hines got a ton of phone calls from individuals all around the world, many of whom thought the advertisement was for a legitimate company.
Despite having previously worked as a correctional officer at Chicago’s Cook County Jail in 1994, Jones was not detained. He took the job when he was 24 years old in order to sustain himself while polishing his comedic abilities.
In addition, he joined the US Army Reserves in August 1988 and spent six years there as a Cannon Crewman, Field Artillery. But in 2003, he left every job he had held before to take a role in the independent comedy Chasing Robert.

Jones’ Good ASS BBQ and Foot Massage, which is eerily identical to his 2008 advertisement, was released in April 2009 by Big Dog Eat Child. Jones’ Cheap ASS Prepaid Legal and Daycare Academy was then released in November 2009.
These advertisements were all equally successful. Additionally, there were spoofs of the “urban entrepreneur’s Legal Retraction & Clarification” videos, a series of “Ask Toby” guidance videos, and recordings of actual phone messages placed on Toby’s voice mail that were later made public.
The date of Robert Lazarik Hines’ birth was January 17, 1970.
The comedian received his basic schooling at Chicago Vocational High School while growing up in Chicago, Illinois.
Hines has recently gained Internet attention as basketball great Steph Curry chose to perform a dance routine in Hines’ honor before games, which was also done during the current NBA Finals.
The phrase “Jones BBQ and foot massage” was repeated numerous times in a short jingle that Curry and his team’s security guards were seen dancing to, including before the Golden State Warriors defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of seven in the Western Conference finals.
