Motorcycle Accident Westport MA; Victim Receiving Treatment in the Hospital: Massachusetts State Police Department arrived at an accident scene on Route 195 in Westport on Wednesday morning.
Correspondent found a motorcycle resting against the guardrail with its seriously injured rider lying unconscious nearby. The injured motorcyclist was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Motorcycle Accident victim has not been identified.
SpokesPerson to the Massachusetts State Police Department, David Procopio confirmed that the crash took place at around 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday in Westport very close to the Fall River line.
Traffic is backed up on 195 westbound near the scene of the crash just before exit 14B to Route 24 north. As of 7:45 a.m., traffic is still backed up on Route 195 and on the Route 88 on-ramp to 195.
