Kenneth Gallagher Car Accident: Northport man in critical condition following Fort Salonga car accident.
24-year-old Kenneth Gallagher of Northport sustained critical injuries in a head-on collision in Fort Salonga on Thursday afternoon, police said.
According to Suffolk police, Gallagher was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck westbound on Fort Salonga Road when he collided head-on with a box truck traveling eastbound on Fort Salonga Road, at approximately 4:40 p.m.
Gallagher sustained severe injuries from the crash and wsa airlifted to a hospital.
The box truck driver was transported to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
