Kenneth Burgett and Patrick Petty Death – Cause of Death: Two killed after Fountain City bar shooting identified.
Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of Hatmaker’s Bar & Grill at 2917 Tazewell Pike at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022.
According to Knoxville Police Department, responding officers located four gunshot victims at the scene. Two men were pronounced dead at the scene, while two other men were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed that there was an active fight in the parking lot when shots were fired. Multiple individuals were seen running from the scene.
The deceased victims were identified as 30-year-old Harrogate resident, Patrick Petty and 46-year-old Knoxville resident, Kenneth Burgett.
No suspects are in custody at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
