A victim was identified as Jose Lara, a  year old boy who was found dead on Monday. According to the report, the victim was a resident of Crescent City in Florida.

One of the authorities, Homer “Gator” DeLoach said the victim was found dead by the officials in a ground-level septic tank that was overgrown with weeds and dirt on the family’s property.The boy  fell through a board that was on top of the septic tank while playing in the family’s backyard according to the investigation

The sherrif who was identified as DeLoach said“We made the decision out of an overabundance of caution to drain the septic tank on the property directly behind me, “As a contractor arrived and began probing, one of our investigators saw an area that was overgrown that had a spot that had been disturbed.

After draining the tank, the dead body of the victim was found.The officials also searched the bodies of water around the home which covered up to 2 square miles according to the report.

The investigation about his death is still ongoing to know the cause of death of the victim.The full details about the incident will be made known soon by the investigators.
