Jordon Colvin, Erica Anderson, and Lacey Conway, Rio Vista Car Accident: Police identify victims in Rio Vista crash.
Rio Vista Police Department has now identified the occupants of the Honda involved in Wednesday evening’s multiple casualty collision as:
Driver – Jordon Colvin, a 20-year-old man, more recently out of Vacaville.
Front passenger – Erica Anderson, a 19-year-old woman, of Vacaville.
Rear passenger – Lacey Conway, 19-year-old woman, of Vacaville.
The surviving occupants of the Chevrolet have all been identified and their ages range from 8- to 37-
years-old who were transported to the hospital with moderate to severe injuries.
Four people were killed in a head-on collision that left six others injured in Rio Vista.
According to police, open containers of alcohol were found in one of the vehicles involved. However, it was too soon to make a DUI determination, police said.
The crash which involved a 2015 Chevy Suburban SUV and a 2003 Honda Accord sedan, happened at approximately 8 p.m. on Highway 12 near Summerset Drive.
According to authorities, preliminary investigations revealed the Accord, driven by a 20-year-old Rancho Cordova man, was traveling westbound on Highway 12 and veered into the eastbound lane, crashing head-on into the Suburban.
The Accord driver who was ejected from the vehicle died along with two others in the vehicle.
One passenger of the SUV, a 70-year-old Mexican, Laura Poiret also died in the crash.
