Is Vicky Phelan Dead? Facebook Post About Her Passing Leads Fans Wondering If Something Happened To Her

Lawyer Vicky Phelan is already battling cancer in her life, and now comes a death hoax she has to deal with. A confusion resulting in a series of mishaps has led to a spread of ugly gossip.

Vicky, the mother of Amelia and Darragh, was born in Mooncoin, County Kilkenny, and now resides in Annacotty, County Limerick. Of her five siblings, she is the oldest and insisted on starting school a year early, demonstrating that she was self-aware even as a young child.

She studied and worked at the University of Limerick after earning a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies there in 1997. Afterward, she joined the Centre for Applied Language Studies as a researcher. She was appointed to the International Education Division at UL in 2001.

No, Vicky Pelhan has not died. Facebook post about the lawyer’s death has drawn everybody’s attention currently. However, the news is totally baseless as she instantly deleted the post as well.

Twitter started posting screenshots of her condolence to an alive person, raging over her sheer ignorance and insensitivity. However, it might have been a silly confusion that led to this. Another lawyer who shared her first name with Poelhan recently passed away, and the social media was actually talking about it. This might probably have tricked the motivational speaker.

One of the Twitteratti writes, “This person posting on Facebook to her 47k followers that Vicky Phelan had passed away (she hasn’t),” posting a screenshot of Nicole’s Facebook post and her profile.

However, Phelan is already fighting a deadly disease and has been sharing her Cancer journey with her well-wishers through platforms she can use to reach out to people in general. She’d recently taken a trip to Spain with her family after her medical specialists expressed about her stable health condition for a while.

Phelan updated her fans with good news in her most recent Instagram picture after gaining approval for a family vacation to Spain. With her two kids, Amelia and Darragh, and her ex-partner Jim, The CervicalCheck left on a “fantastic” trip.

She wrote in a post to Instagram over the weekend that she just got back home after evening from a much-needed, delightful week away in Spain with Jim and the kids.

Facebook Post About Vicky Phelan Passing Away Is Baseless

Vicky Phelan, a proponent of CervicalCheck, disclosed that she was receiving hospice care as a result of complications from her radiation treatment. Late last year, Ms. Phelan, who has terminal cancer, returned to Ireland for palliative care after participating in clinical trials there.

This is the very reason that a small confusion led to people actually believing her demise. The Facebook post that was done by a mental health expert and motivational speaker is now deleted.

Nicole says that she empowers people-pleasers with tools to put healthy boundaries in place & find their voice on her social media. It was a clear mistake, but she chose to remove the post rather than address it. Nevertheless, it was for a brief moment that she thought the damage was not done yet.

However, Twitter is still talking and debating about the untrue news. A rumor is just stronger than a Chinese whisper.

As Phelan’s family is already going through a lot, it is high time people would understand and stop talking about the baseless condolence.
