At the time, Epps served as the group’s main media spokesperson and allowed interviews. Stewart Rhodes, the founder and executive director of the national organization, was pictured with him after giving a lecture at the chapter’s dinner.
The most current seditious conspiracy charge against Rhodes stems from the event on January 6. He was just charged with seditious conspiracy in relation to what happened on January 6.

Unknowingly, he became a spokesperson for a pro-Trump movement that aimed to disseminate the untrue theory that the F.B.I. was responsible for the attack on the Capitol.
He has thus endured a great deal of hardship over the last ten months as a result of right-wing media characters and Republican lawmakers wrongly accusing him of being a secret government spy who assisted in the planning of the attack on the Capitol last year.
Mr. Epps wasn’t just a spectator on January 6. He traveled to Washington, D.C., to back Mr. Trump, and was present on the day of the attack. He was also seen on tape encouraging supporters to assemble at the Capitol.
However, a number of things happened that put his life in danger as this F.B.I. conspiracy theory gained popularity.
Is Ray Epps in jail?
Ray Epps, a former Marine, has not yet been detained. The FBI did, however, confirm that Mr. Epps contacted them and agreed to a meeting as soon as he became aware of his involvement in the riot’s investigation.
He said that the subsequent episodes devastated his life after he traveled to Washington, D.C., to support former president Donald Trump, despite the fact that he was not one of the hundreds of Capitol rioters who were detained and charged.
Ray, the figurehead of a right-wing plot to pin the Capitol riot on the FBI, did not meet a peaceful conclusion.
Before the Capitol brawl, Donald Trump’s fans were inventing tales to numb the agony of cognitive dissonance. The protesters were welcomed inside by Capitol Police, according to the initial account. The second was that Antifa was responsible for the riot despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
Where are Robyn and the family of Ray Epps now?
The New York Times claims that Epps was forced to sell his Arizona house as well as his company after he was implicated in a plot.
Out of concern for their safety and uncertainty about the future, he and his wife packed up their stuff into shipping containers and moved to a mobile home in the foothills of the Rockies.
In addition, the former federal agent claimed that after right-wing news outlet Revolver News broke the story in October, he and his wife started receiving email death threats and had people trespass on their property. Following the promotion of the accusations by politicians and Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, the attacks intensified.
