Demi Moore received criticism for bringing her dog Pilaf into the Louvre despite the museum’s ban on pets.

Internet users have criticised Demi Moore for taking her dog, Pilaf, on a tour of the renowned Louvre museum despite the law prohibiting animals within the famous Parisian site. During a recent trip to the museum, the 59-year-old “Striptease” actress posed alongside her pet in front of the famous Mona Lisa artwork.
She posed for photos with Pilaf concealed inside her top and other sculptures as well. On July 13, Moore posted the images to her Instagram account with the comment, “Pilaf takes the Louvre.” Because no other people were visible in the images, it was assumed that she may have been on a private tour. However, the museum’s website explicitly states that “all animals are prohibited, with the exception of guiding dogs or support dogs accompanying persons with motor or mental handicap,” therefore it was unable to appease internet haters.
Moore’s social media post quickly drew criticism from users, one of whom wrote: “Sad when celebs exploit their fame and take their pets in places we normal folk can’t. The Louvre has a no-pet rule with an exception for assistance animals. Demi Moore, you ought to be wiser. How on earth is it permitted to bring a dog into the Louvre, another person questioned? A third reviewer questioned, “A dog at the top museum? ”

In contrast, Moore had disclosed in a 2019 interview that she adored pets and might be married a fourth time. “I never like to say never because I think that’s the set up for being made to be wrong, but I don’t feel a need to,” she said to Women’s Wear Daily.
