Arlana Miller, a Southern University and A&M College student, was found dead in the Mississippi River after her family got concerned about her location after she purportedly posted her farewell note on social media.

On her Instagram account, the Southern University Jaguars cheerleader posted a lengthy statement that frightened her family and friends. Miller discussed supposed suicide ideas throughout her earlier years and how long she has battled the cravings in the post, which has over 65,000 likes.

She loved everyone in her life, but she’d had enough of battling and hoped that her decision brought serenity to those she cared about.

Arlana Miller posted a farewell message on Instagram. She expressed gratitude to everyone in her life and discussed her fight with depression.
“May today be a day of rest and calm for me.” She composed.
“I’ve been fighting this inclination since I was a teenager. I put everything I had into this life. I’m grateful to everyone who has come into my life, and I can only imagine how this may find you. I’ve been surrounded by people who may have thought I was fine, but I haven’t been fine in a long time.”
Miller’s family, friends, and others are offered the school’s heartfelt condolences, and counseling is available for individuals who may require further assistance during this difficult time.
