The person killed in a fatal Buchanan County, Missouri car crash that occurred on Friday, July 29, 2022, is now identified as Joseph. Four miles south of St. Joseph, on Route A, Joshua Gladieux, 46, of Leavenworth, Kansas, was operating a 2017 Chevy 3500, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Alex D. Lewis, 20, of St. Joseph, was operating a 2014 Ford Fiesta traveling south when the Chevy struck him head-on, as the vehicle veered off the road.

The two victims of death are identified as Alexander L. Brown, 19, and a child, 14, both of St. Joseph. They were two of Ford’s passengers. They were both pronounced dead at the scene and sent to Meierhoffer Funeral Home.
