A 24-year-old woman was found dead inside a home on 16873 Monterey Road – A 31-year-old San Jose man was arrested.
According to the Morgan Hill Police Department around 11:39am on Friday May 6, 2022, officers responded to 16873 Monterey Road #303 to conduct a welfare check on an unresponsive female.
Upon arrival, officers located a deceased 24-year-old female in a rear bedroom.
Responding officers scanned the bedroom and located several items, which led them to believe the female victim may have died under suspicious circumstances.
The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and initiated a separate investigation into the victim’s manner and cause of death.
Police says, over the course of the criminal investigation, a wide array of evidence was collected and analyzed.
Jordan Eric Lowe, 31 from San Jose was ultimately identified as a suspect in this case.
Detectives received an Arrest Warrant for Lowe and took him into custody without incident on May 5, 2022, in San Jose.
This investigation is ongoing.
